MY:VIEW Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

H&M's collaborations are always pretty spectacular, so I was so excited when I heard about the one with Maison Martin Margiela, as I love the deconstructed style of the main range, so was looking forward to seeing what they'd produce on a High Street level.  I must say, the dresses are what appeal to me most, as they are more my style, but the tailoring is beautiful, and the accessories are cute (although the shoes do seem slightly expensive in terms of what they are).

Here's my picks of the collection.

I LOVE this dress, and when I found out that it also comes in black, I did a little happy dance!  I now just need to find an unsuspecting friend who will queue up for me and post it to Cape Town!!

Love the tuxedo style of this dress, and the fact that it looks like 2 dresses mixed together appeals to the DIYer in me.  Its not everyone's cup of tea, but I'd definitely wear it!

The colour and draping of this dress appeals, as it looks like it'd cover a multitude of sins, which is always good!!!

The thing I love most about these dresses is that although they aren't for the faint hearted, and are quite fashion forward, but they are also quite classic, in that I think you could wear them for years of come.  At £99.99 each, they're not too bad a price, especially looking at the work that has gone into them.  I'd buy all 3 if I could afford it!!

Would love to know what you guys think?
