MYLOOK - Its All About Compromise

I’ve been stressing about my wardrobe since arriving in Cape Town 2 months ago, as 40% of my wardrobe is beachwear and its currently winter, so have decided to do some outfit posts, as I’m having to be more creative about what I wear!

They say relationships are all about compromise, so after 3 years of marriage I decided that I’d better step up and do something my hubby loves, so yesterday I went mountain biking! However, an outfit post of me in my not very professional looking gym clothes (everyone was wearing pro cycling clothes – definitely not the “novice” course I was promised!), so this is from the meal which he took me to as a thank you for being a good sport!  We ate at a new restaurant on the complex where we live called 8 ½ on the Canal, and the food was gorgeous, will definitely be going back!! 

This skirt was meant to be a midi, but due to my lack of height (I’m only 5ft 2), its more like a maxi, but its great for dressing up or down.  I added the bright clutch for a pop of colour, and also like the clash between the coral and hot pink.
