MY LOOK: Leopard and Leather

The weather in Cape Town is shaping up to be a scorcher this weekend, with Sunday being 33°, so it looks like summer is definitely on its way, and I can’t wait to start wearing my summer wardrobe!  However, last night was a cold one, so when we decided that we couldn’t be bothered cooking dinner, and J offered to take me out for a meal, I threw on this maxi dress and jacket.  It goes against my September style challenge as I wear this quite regularly (although a did put a jumper over so it looks like a skirt when I was cold when we got home, which may count!), but I didn’t have a lot of time to get ready after coming back from the gym, and the hunger setting in! I bought this Maggie and Me maxi last Spring and have worn it loads as its quite thick so it’s perfect for winter too, worn like this, or with a long sleeve t-shirt underneath. Maggie and Me is a label I love as its still quite small, but their pieces are lovely, and rreally good prices. I bought these boots when I was back in the UK, and I love them, as they look as great with shorts and skirts and they do with jeans.

I’m really looking forward to this weekend, cinema to see Savages tonight, Mongolian meal tomorrow night then a beach day to take full advantage of the heat on Sunday.  Just need to decide what to do Saturday day (go for a hike or for lunch at a vineyard are the choices) then we’re sorted!  Better get to the gym now to work off all the good living I’ll be doing this weekend!
