MY:LOOK Window shopping til my hearts content

This weekend the weather in Cape Town has been horrendous.  I know the UK has flood warnings, but we might be next!  Moving here I was very naive to the weather, I thought there would be year long sunshine…. How I was wrong!  Being from Manchester, I should be used to rain, and I am, just not when I don’t have any winter appropriate clothing!! Its hard to not get soaked in light jackets and ballet pumps, hence why the trusty biker boots are out again (read more here). Yesterday we went to a Big Cat farm, which was great, we just didn’t anticipate the water logged ground so my new studded slippers are ruined and so a J’s trainers (they were white, now have a grey line around the bottom!).
So today, its pouring again, and amazingly J has agreed to come shopping as a way to escape the weather.  This is relatively unheard of (especially as we’re skint this month after paying out for our personal training), hence why the outfit posts are self taken, really didn’t want to lose the shopping opportunity by asking him to take the pics!!  As you can see, dressed for warmth and comfort!  This scarf is one of my fave things I own, it works for smart and casual, and it has skulls on, which I still love (its the McQueen obsessive in me).  Plus I'm wearing the Lovissa jewellery I bought last week (see here).  Well, off shopping, fingers crossed the good mood continues and he might treat me!!
